Alfie the Dachshund, Reactive Behaviour – Breakthrough

Here is a short clip of my recent session with Alfie.

This was one of our best sessions, with loads of really cool moments.

Alfie is starting now to cope really well with dogs close to him, dogs running around (a big one!) and he is more and more confident to simply move away when he needs to instead of showing all his lunging and barking at full mode like before.

I still remember our first sessions when he would lunge and bark at every dog at really long distances and easily spend all the session with his hackles up and scanning the environment all the time. This session was definitely a breakthrough.

For now, I will give him a break and I will start to work with his sister Betsy on her own issues. If you did not watch the previous videos on Alfie’s Therapy, I advise you to do so.

And if you enjoyed this post, then please drop a Like, Comment and/or Share it with somebody you think will learn from it.

Help me spread the word of Positive Reinforcement for all Dogs!

Thank you,
