Clicker Training Gertie to “Say Hello”

Yesterday I met Gertie for another session.

We focused on her excitement when greeting her family and also guests.

We introduced a clicker to Gertie previously and here we are using it to reinforce more desired behaviours when people come in.

Before, she would continuously jump up to say hello and get attention.

After a couple of repetitions, Gertie learned very fast to be calm and patient until the right moment to say hello.

Clicker Training is a simple, kind, and easy method to teach any dog any behaviour.

Have you heard about Clicker Training?
