Teaching Connected Walks with Evie

Short Clip of my session with Evie.

In this session, we worked on Connected Walks. Before training, Evie would pull to the point of crawling the majority of times.

Teaching a dog to not pull is a process and it will take time and energy, although, the majority of times, if we are able to put such time and energy it is quite a fast process.

Here we are using both food and functional reinforcers to teach Evie.

No need to implement force or intimidate the dog to be with us.

Also, This Is NOT Heel Work.

In my perspective, Heel Work stays in the ring.

Real-life requires life skills that take into consideration the whole picture, including the dogs’ experience of it as well.

Comments and questions always welcome.
