Gary the Great Dane – Excitement and Frustration S.5

Short video of my last session with Gary.

As I mentioned before, Gary can get a bit frustrated when not allowed to meet Dogs.

He will focus on them, stop, bounce, lunge and sometimes growl.

All these behaviours happened when he was on the lead and was not allowed to get to other dogs.

We have been working together to solve this issue as for some weeks now and by implementing appropriate lead handling skills, reinforcing more appropriate choices and guide Gary when needed, we are seeing really nice improvements.

All those problematic behaviours did not show up even once during the entire session… We can say that this is a huge success.

It is also a pleasure to work with amazing Humans who care for their Dogs, like Gary’s, and see them doing their best to help their boy.

Thank you,
